==============================================================================

1. Introduction

   TD Bridge allows you to interface your system to Discproducer for
   publishing discs by means of Hot Folder method.

   For "monitoring folder" specified on installing the EPSON TD Bridge,
   specify a folder that is exclusively used for TD Bridge.
   The folder is required to have permissions to access a Local Service account
   and a standard user account.
   Therefore, the monitoring folder has been given the access permissions of
   "Authenticated Users" when installing the EPSON TD Bridge Version 8.01.

4. Installing/Uninstalling, How to Use

    Please refer to the technical reference guide.

5. Restrictions

  (1) According to the following procedure, two files (extension is DON and
      ERR) might be made for one JDF file when the JDF file that has same
      JOB_ID is copied into the Monitoring folder. Please do not copy the
      JDF file that has same JOB_ID into the Monitoring folder:
        1) Make the disc by TD Bridge.
        2) Restart TD Bridge without restarting PC within two hours.
      Make the JDF file that has same JOB_ID as 1) into the Monitoring folder.

  (2) When PP-100N cannot communicate due to the back-up, re-store, and the
      like, HNW000 will be output to the INFORMATION code of the TDBStatus.txt;
      however, the INFORMATION code of the cause category is not output.
      See the Total Disc Monitor for more details on the cause.

  (3) If you forcibly terminate the TD Bridge with unfinished jobs remaining,
      the extension “.JDF” of the unfinished job might become “.ERR” after
      the TD Bridge rebooted.
      In such a case, the job information will not be output to the
      TDBStatus.txt correctly. Confirm it with the Total Disc Monitor.

  (4) Set the extension “.JDF” for a JDF file that is to be moved to the
      monitoring folder.

  (5) Do not pull-out Stacker 4 while the disc, which was made by PP-100III,
      PP-100II, or PP-100AP, is ejecting to Stacker 4. If you do so, error code
      “5” is output in the STATUS key of the STF file, which means the
      operation completed in error. However, no error code might be output in
      the ERROR key.
      In the cooperative application, if the code “5” is output in the STATUS
      key and no error code is output in the ERROR key, the job is completed
      correctly.

  (6) In case of using the label file (“.TDD” format) that fulfills all the
      following conditions, open the label file with the “Total Disc Maker
      Ver. 3.00 or later” and use it after overwriting it:
      <Condition>
        1) It is created by the Total Disc Maker Ver. 2.50.
        2) An image item is used.
        3) It specifies the merge print of the text or barcode.
      * If the label file is used as-is, either of the following symptoms might
      occur:
        Symptom 1) Unable to print the image.
        Symptom 2) The job is rejected by Error code #JDF1620 even without
                   specifying the merge print of the image.

  Please refer to the technical reference guide for other restrictions.
