            V0XT6C1A.BIN TFT 1024x768, support NEC NL10276BC30

    <<IMPORTANT>>
VGA-BIOS requires particular LCD setting of CMOS-RAM. It does not
work properly under wrong settings. When changing VGA-BIOS, be sure
to set CMOS-RAM as follows before the new BIOS runs.

      (1) Set SETUP default of \INTEGRATED PERIPHERALS\Flat Panel Resolution:
Use MODBIN to set default value of "Flat Panel Resolution:" item
in "INTEGRATED PERIPHERALS" screen. The wrong value causes display
lock. When proper default value is set, the locked status can be
solved by clearing CMOS-RAM or discharging RTC.

(File name) (Required SETUP default setting)
            V0VT6C1A.BIN Flat Panel Resolution : 640x480
            V0ST6C1A.BIN Flat Panel Resolution : 800x600
            V0ST6C2A.BIN Flat Panel Resolution : 800x600
            V0XT6C1A.BIN Flat Panel Resolution : 1024x768

      (2) Avoid CRT&LCD setting of \INTEGRATED PERIPHERALS\Display Selection:
It's OK to switch between "CRT" and "LCD" of "Display Selection:"
item in "INTEGRATED PERIPHERALS" screen. For some CRTs, setting
"CRT&LCD" may cause the LOST SYNC, because CRT Dot Clock is changed
by Flat Panel resolution when CRT&LCD.

            (Panel Resolution) (Dot Clock Frequency)
                640x480 25MHz
                800x600 38MHz
                1024x768 65MHz

    <Note>
      - Please refer Software Manual to modify BIOS.
      - Please refer Hardware Manual or Application Note for LCD connection.
      - The latest and detailed information about LCDs is documented in the
"Technical Information" on web site at:
                        http://www.epson.co.jp/CARD-PC/

7. TOOLS information
Please refer Software Manual for details of the TOOLS.

      (1) CBROM, MODBIN
Those are utility programs to modify BIOS.
        Getting ready to use them:
Step 1. Prepare working folder on host PC.
Step 2. Delete old version of the RAK if present.
Step 3. Copy programs and binaries to working folder.
Step 4. Change current directory to the working folder.

      (2) AWDFLASH
AWDFLASH is a BIOS writer program which runs on the target system.
        How to update BIOS:
Step 1. Prepare target system to boot from disk.
Step 2. Boot DOS without processing CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT.
Step 3. Prepare new BIOS binary file.
          Step 4. Run AWDFLASH.

      (3) CPEVRDIS
CPEVRDIS switches BIOS ROM from the external to the internal within
CARD-PCI Eva Board. It is useful for a case of internal BIOS lock.
        Following shows BIOS repairing steps.
          Step 1. Prepare Eva board.
Step 2. Set recovery BIOS ROM to U7 32pin DIP socket.
Step 3. Switch DIP SW1: Bit1=On,Bit2=On to PORT3 Control Mode.

                        |________________________________|
          Step 4. Power-On, boot DOS without CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT.
Step 5. Run CPEVRDIS. (Then ROM will be switched to the internal.)
Step 6. Run AWDFLASH to overwrite internal BIOS ROM.
          Step 7. Power-Off.
Step 3. Switch DIP SW1: Bit1=Off,Bit2=Off to Normal Mode.
